Description
This 6-week intermediate course is designed to transition you beyond the basics into a more dynamic, fluid, and expressive mastery of Séga technique and intricate movement sequences.
Over six weeks, we will focus on refining your intermediate technique, improving the speed, control, and precision of your hipwork, skirt manipulation, footwork, and coordinated isolations. Alongside technical drills, we will work on a dedicated intermediate sequence combining traditional rhythm with modern fusion styling. Through this routine, you will explore musical interpretation, smooth transitions, and expressive performance, helping you dance with greater confidence and cultural flair.
The course is designed for intermediate dancers—those who already have a baseline understanding of Mauritian Séga fundamentals and are ready to challenge their technique, coordination, and sequence retention.
