In this 6-week course, we will learn the foundations of Mauritian Sega, a free-spirited dance deeply rooted in the island’s culture.
In this module, we will focus on fundamental technique. Starting from scratch, we’ll learn the correct posture and the fundamental steps and movements. Together, we’ll discover how to connect your body to the beat of the Ravanne, building a solid and authentic foundation to help you move with natural grace and joy.
This course is designed for absolute beginners. No previous experience is needed: we will guide you step-by-step through the key movements to make you feel part of this wonderful tradition from day one.

Technical Requirements
Access to a computer or mobile device with a stable internet connection.
Zoom application installed.
Ample space is required to move comfortably, allowing for energetic steps, turns, and lateral movement.
Recommended: A long full circle skirt or comfortable, breathable clothing suitable for an energetic workout.
